Penn Medicine is the brand for all University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) health care entities in addition to the Perelman School of Medicine (PSOM).

UPHS is a comprehensive health system that includes inpatient and outpatient care facilities at numerous campuses/locations across the region. These entities include Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH), Chester County Hospital (CCH), Clinical Care Associates (CCA), Penn Home Care/Hospice Services (HCHS), Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania (CPUP) as well as UPHS Corporate Shared Services (CORP).

What type of development opportunities are available for our staff and will we be eligible to participate in those programs?

Penn Medicine offers a wide-range of career development opportunities that range from courses in leadership development, performance improvement, patient experience and project management, to highly customized workshops and learning opportunities based upon the employee’s role. We provide these opportunities in a variety of delivery methods including instructor-led training, experiential learning, simulations, and online learning. Additionally, our clinical education departments provides nurses, Advanced Practice Providers, allied health staff and other clinical team members ongoing learning and development to provide the best possible skill set for our patients, ranging from advanced clinical skills to use of technology. Through this robust mix of learning opportunities we continue to invest in the very best people in healthcare.
